This set meal is the traditional Japanese balanced meal "Ichiju-Sansai" which has been eaten since the Heian period (about 1000 years ago) by the higher-class people.
You will learn six Japanese cooking methods: Agemono (fried), Nimono (simmered), Aemono (dressed salad), Shirumono (soup), Gohan (rice) and Tsukemono (pickled vegetables).
Our tofu meal class ingredients:
- Agedashi tofu
- Simmered daikon with sweet tofu miso toppings
- Shiroae (tofu salad)
- Tofu miso soup
- Brown rice
- Tsukemono (pickled vegetables)
